Chocolate Mousse
Not only is this dessert easy, its decadent.
Plus, there are no raw eggs involved so its that much safer.
You can also slim down this dessert substantially by using nonfat
evaporated milk, sugar-free/fat-free pudding mix and nonfat frozen
whipped topping. And if you dont keep a can of evaporated
milk in the refrigerator, place it in the freezer for about 35 minutes
or so to make this dish. It needs to be cold.
One 12-ounce can
evaporated milk, chilled
One 4-ounce or 4-serving box instant
chocolate fudge pudding mix
(plain
chocolate works well, too)
1 cup frozen whipped topping, thawed
In a medium mixing bowl, combine milk and pudding
mix. Beat with electric beater or blender until thoroughly mixed.
Add the whipped topping, gently stirring until blended. Spoon into
5 dessert dishes or in one bowl to serve from later. Place mousse
in the refrigerator; it will be soft-set after about 5 minutes and
ready to eat.
